ALLES NEU (2014)

The  X ped/t ition Festival

A project funded by the German Federal Cultural Foundation/Doppelpass Fund. In coproduction with projekttheater Dresden.

The cooperation between the Projekttheater Dresden and the “Doppelpass” theatre support programme – funded by the Federal Cultural Foundation – resulted in four X ped/t ition productions, which will all be shown at the festival “ALLES NEU” (“RENEWAL”). Each of the four  X ped/t ition  productions  can be understood not only as an expedition into the present time but also – each in its own unique way – as a petition addressed to society. These four productions will be presented from July 3^rd to 6^th, 2014, along with discussions, lectures and guest performances and will present the topics we have been dealing with as well as the results of this process.  The two main issues which will be addressed  are the quest for new visions concerning the private and public spheres in Dresden´s Neustadt area as well as what can be done to enhance the living there. Together with the people of Dresden we review the past and look to the future to consider what is important for “RENEWAL”
